I'm looking into buying an Alice pack for camping trips and the like, what "add on" bags do you guys recommend?

-Thanks,

I would say to go with a MOLLE pack instead of an ALICE. If you realy want an ALICE, http://www.armygear.net/ag/store/search ... y&se=Packs

I was using my medium for years for hiking tours. The only extra I added was another canteen. There are straps for ALICE clips added at both.
Everything else was packed inside, even a intermedia sleeping bag at winter hikes!
If you use the large one, you wouldn´t need any other add on´s.

If you are hauling a lot of gear I recommend the CFP90 pack as it has lightweight internal frame, good kidney belt, lower back pad and seperate zippered sleeping bag compartment. It is also set up to clip on a rucksack.

I have a CFP90 also, pretty cool, but that MOLLE $25-offer (#360095379456) is "un-beatable".

Too bad he doesn´t send international as "...surplus rules had changed..."?!
What ever that means :?:

I got one from him a few weeks ago, nice quality. You might want an American friend to ship it to ya.

Wow, 10 years? that's a real work horse. I'm going to check the pricing on some tomorrow at a local surplus.
