Check this out!!! Thats just nuts for one-24-hour ration...for that amount of money you could buy a case of MRE's and call it a day!!!!!!!!!!!

its a standart price for a norwegian ration like this.

here in germany you can get this official for 39,99 Euro (=60 US $!!!) + shipping... i would say its a normal price but its to high anyway...

WOW so that is the standard price?!?! Those a crazy expensive and that's only rations for one day!

Have you had a chance to taste this type of ration before?

Still this is the second one and the first one sold for about the same price.... :idea:
Still there are some asshats that sell things at exagerated prices...Seen the "Russian VDV ration" for almost $50.00 bucks??? with SH is $75.00 :shock: !!!!!!!!!!

In addition to the international shipping costs from the EU, you'll also want to remember that the costs of freezed-dried foods are a lot higher than for retort pouches.

If you take a look at the DSCP page you'll see that LRPs are priced at $128 per case verses the $85 per case for MREs.

On the retail market, you may want to take a look at the Mountain House ProPaks, they're pretty similar to the entrees that you get in a MCW/LRP and they're from the same source. ... and they're available locally. ;)

havent tried it yet - but i have a open ration right here - i think they wont be tasting different to travellunch - but i will try it out 8)

thats correct - the reason why its that expensive is that its freezedried and got high calories.

Yeah that guy and I had a deal fall through so he's trying to get rid of those rats on ebay now....

And where did this guy get the ration from in Europe??? CAn you send me a link to the seller of these rats?

Yes I think he got it from Europe...either the UK or Norway, I'm not sure.
