Great dealing with Scott-GA, great contact, price & exactly as described!

Some of those 91's have freeze dried fruit in them, first time I'll be trying that!
Thanks for the kind words. Bart did all the heavy lifting on this transaction. He couldn't have made this any easier for me. It was a pleasure!

Scott-GA was great and is making me feel self conscious about my packing abilities haha. The dessert components arrived pretty much bomb proof. Opened a brown bag oatmeal cookie bar and it was good to go despite being from either 1971, 1981, or maybe 1991!

My guess is probably 1991. Some stuff I got from him is 1989, and they didnt make the OCB in 71 like that, dont think in 81 either

Card176 made this transaction as simple as it could have been.

Regarding the date for the Oatmeal Cookie Bar... I assume you found a date code of some kind? Neat!

I am assuming the guy that stripped the wet retort items from these resealed MRE bags did nothing more to the contents other than adding the freeze dried meat.

I took pictures documenting the contents as I unsealed and removed the individual components. Since there was only one Oatmeal Cookie Bar, it was not hard to locate the correct pictures when I searched for them.

This was in a Omlet With Ham ( Menu 4 ) Brown Bag MRE with large number "4" printed on the bag. The numbers date the brown bag to between 1988 and 1995. The Omlet with Ham was not Menu 4 after 1994 so it looks like the Oatmeal Cookie Bar would be between 1988 & 1994. I just did a quick check of the rest of the pictures and the bags are about half & half with numbers and without numbers so the desserts could be from as early as 1982 to 1995 based on the bags.
