MRE Empire!

Has anyone had any issues with MRE Empire before? I ordered a few things at the beginning of january and have yet to hear from them. Order is still unfulfilled, no shipping or tracking info. I've reached out several times with no response. Just seeing if anybody had any insight. Order was placed on January 5th. According to their website...orders are usually fulfilled within a few days. Like I said i've emailed them multiple times to no avail.

Bought from them last year. Got the items in a timely manner, but damned customs took out the mains. I only buy foreign MREs now that are already in the States.

I've been seeing posts on reddit with complaints from people ordering to the US, but European customers seemed to be doing fine. Aka: No responses

They took my money with no ration in about 5-6 months now. No responses, multiple emails and even fraud notifications....nothing.

Several on Reddit share similar stories and there are a few posts regarding issues for sure.

Lesson learned.

Wow...good to know. What a shame! Lesson learned for sure...Hopefully this helps someone not get screwed by them in the future.

The way this is generally handled, always make a purchase like this with a credit card, They will perform a “chargeback” and refund your money.

Technically speaking, a business isn’t allowed under the terms of a merchant agreement to charge a card unless and until the item is shipped.

25Jan2025 - Here's an interesting update.

I placed my order on 21Sep2024 for Menu 6 Dutch OR with Energy module. Heard nothing and no status changes until this morning. Order seems to have been filled and a tracking number was provided.

I've reached out to them several times and they never responded back.

I'm very happy to get this update and will post again once order is received.

I've used them several times and I did have a couple of occasions where incorrect items were sent, but communications were great and they rectified the problem in each case.

I think the last 5 or 6 orders I placed have been faultless, although I'm based in the UK so don't have to run the gauntlet of customs.

Well, just got the single Dutch ration I ordered 21Sep of last year today, 10Feb2025. Almost 5 months later....and it wasn't even the ration I ordered. Same type, wrong menu.

I'd complain but I think we all know there won't be a response.

Geez.
