WTS: Food Packet Individual Assault and K Ration

I am preparing for a move and unfortunately have to thin out some of my collection. I have two examples of rougher but complete rations that will make a great example in somebody’s collection. I have tried to price them fairly but I’m not very current on prices. Shipping outside of the U.S. will need to be calculated. Feel free to ask me any questions!

1. Food Packet Individual Assault, Menu 4. This ration is open and has seen better days, but to my knowledge it is complete. The main has been compromised and the fossilized remains are inside the can. The B unit is in fantastic shape and is sealed, dated 1952. The candy (Vanilla Caramels) and fuel tablets are both closed with some damage to the containers, but I did not open them to check their condition as I don’t want to damage the paper or foil. The accessory packet is opened and complete, unfortunately it appears bugs have gotten to most of the coffee and soluble milk packets but they still display great. The other contents are in good shape and the Camels are still sealed. All in all, a decent complete example of a very hard to find ration.

2. Opened “morale” style breakfast K ration. This ration is also complete but has seen better days. The main, Ham and Eggs, displays well but the can is compromised and very little of the dried contents remain, it is dated 2-45. The four domino cubes are in great shape as is the Waldorf toilet paper. The accessory packet is opened but appears complete, it still seems like it’s packed the original way from the factory so I did not want to unpack it. Both boxes are torn and stained as can be seen in the pictures but are still holding up.

looks like your K is missing one sleeve of biscuits

like that your fruit bar has perfectly legible writing showing it as a trudeau foods, which i don't have

can is also in pretty good shape for its age

so the K is perfectly reasonably priced and if nobody buys it soon enough to suit you and you decide to part it out, contact me about the fruit bar

sealed, that packet would have had one package of biscuits, 4 sugar cubes, one ceral bar, one fruit bar, the package of toilet paper, two coffees and a spoon
