94 FD Fruit from brown bag

Post by jim_w333 » Thu Oct 06, 2022 7:27 pm

I have a question I opened one of my 1994 brown bags the FD Fruit "pears" had no air & seemed uncompromised package was tight but when I opened it seems there are a few faint red spots 3-4 on one side is this normal or some kind of bacteria? Thanks in advance.

Pork chow mein menu?

It wouldn't stop me from eating it :) but that's up to you.

With the fd fruit, when I gets compromised it turns into the texture of a sponge, and even then it's usually still edible. If yours was/is still crispy, and the vacuum seal was good, you should be fine
