Query - US MRE offer/price

Hello everyone

Quick query - I've recently come across an offer on a Polish craigslist style website offering MRE cartons shipped directly from the US to Europe for approx. $25 + $10 economy shipping

Seemed way too good to be true to me, especially with the price hike during the COVID-19 pandemic however the seller seems reputable

Anyone ever see MREs to be that cheap?

Make sure to read the offer carefully, they may show a full case of MRE’s but the description may say only one actual MRE. If it is the full case, chances are they are expired or were improperly stored. Be careful!

Yeah listing does state full case, 12 units of official US army MREs with a long expiration date Bank transfer only - no paypal option which is a bit fishy to me

I passed on these ones anyway but thought ill get some opinion on here

I refuse to believe ANYONE can ship a box of 12 mres overseas anywhere for $25.... Passing was probably wise

I highly doubt it, at that price, unless they are damaged.

If you buy, use PayPal in case you need a refund.

Shipping alone would be probably close to $100+. I've shipped 10kg to UK and it was $80, and a case of mre is almost 10kg

It was a Polish language website - the adverts have now disappeared making it even more suspicious

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I did suspect shipping would be around that figure making it cost prohibitive to get MREs from the US
