FREE NORWEGIAN RATIONS (CONTAIN ASBESTOS)

If anyone here is interested in some old rowegian rations from the 60s and 70s, you can have them for free. They contain asbestos but are still sealed. Collection only, I'm in west london. PM.

This is super interesting. What exactly contains asbestos in the Ration? Could you attach some photos?

Definitely very interesting. Shame I can't swing the shipping to the states (COVID made money tight at the moment) at the moment or else I'd pick one up. Definitely an interesting item imo to have. Maybe once things get back to normal, and if you still have them, I might snag one from ya.

Hey all! I'm not sure if I'm gonna ship these, once the pandemics over I'll decide. I don't have any photos now, but basically, the stove in he ration has a heatproof base, made of asbestos mixed with plaster. I'm a big scaredy cat, so I don't want them, but I'm sure they'd be safe to have in your collection.

No, the stove metal stove itself has an asbestos base. Not sure if it's in the paper rations, but it's in all of the rations with a plastic outer (from before 89, when Norway banned asbestos)

If the asbestos is not in a friable condition, as in easily introduced to the air so you can breath it in it's safe and has not contaminated the rest of the contents.
