Wondered if anybody out there would be willing to help me start out my mre collection as well as Korea, Vietnam and WW2 time periods rations? Only have one MRE so far.
Any tips and tricks to beginners would be helpful as well!

Hi! Keep an eye on the Buy/Sell forum, rations of that time period are not common at all but from time to time one changes hands and you could buy it! They are not cheap but the posts in the forum tend to have realistic prices, so you would be getting your money's worth

Appreciate the offer, will pass for now. Looking for a p38 opener. Accessories( Sugar, salt, toilet paper, etc.) for now. Only US 1940’s-current. K rations and c rations. MCI.

I would recommend checking out a couple of different sources before paying, especially for older rations that you are in search of. Most people are not going to be likely to give away anything to do with Korean War, Vietnam, or WWII rations because of just how expensive they can be (if that is what you are looking for).
As a beginner, I would recommend trying out some recent US MREs - they are available almost everywhere online. Ebay is usually a good source as others have indicated, but there a few different websites that I know of that are worth checking out:
