So,I have most of 12 cases of French RCIRs from the UK recently, and for some reason, US Customs decided to open each one and remove manyof the entrees and pate. The cases are incomplete :x Basically, anything with beef, pork, and poultry was taken from each ration. Anyways, I've decided to sell the remaining rations at a much reduced price, if there is any interest. I usually can get about $60 for French RCIRs, but since these cases have been tampered withand are missing one of the entrees, and possibly the pate, I'm offering these rations at $35 each plus shipping in the US. I will ship via USPS Priority Mail, which is about $14 for one or two rations. I can fit two of these RCIRs in a medium flat rate box, so if you buy two, you can save on shipping costs. I'l just list the first couple of menus for now, to see if there is any interest. Payment is by Paypal. Please PM me if interested in one or more of these rations, Thx! Also, I have many many loose components that are for sellm such as, The Jelly Bars, Chocolate bsrs, Crackers, Mini-Stoves, Fuel Tablets, some Mains remain as well! If there is interest in the component!

That's a little ridiculous, and I would definitely be raising hell over customs removing all that from your packages

Yes, that's what I thought as well! I called them several times and left messages, but nobody ever responded. I guess they feel they have ultimate jurisdiction in that arena and don't have to answer to any of us peon civilians  .

Actually not. Neither in Europa nor in US is it allowed to "import" meat and dairy. It´s just a luck-bad luck thing. Lucky you they didn´t charge for a customs violation.

It’s a violation to import meat products without the proper paperwork into the country. CBP can charge you $300 for each meat product imported illegally. Fines can grow to $10,000 and up. You can even end up in jail. To make the long story short, if the product does not have “USDA” approved stamp on it, it’s not admissible. Certain items are exempt, but they require valid paperwork.

So...what does that mean for us buying foreign rations in the future?
