With tensions high between China and every other country in the region, maybe they're restricting sales so they have more rations in stock in case the North and South China seas become blood baths?

Japan does not think that a big war is approaching.
The government has not increased the budget of SDF ration.
Probably, the stored SDF ration has a high possibility of being consumed by a big earthquake...

Until now, SDF members sold at the auction, without eating the provided rations.
Now, they are going to avoid the by-blow of an incident.

I've ordered from "China-PLA-supplies" on eBay several times and had great luck with them.

And the JSDF ration in the auction decreased sharply because of the ration sale-through-illegal-channels incident in Japan SDF this year...

JGSDF released the 3rd incident this year today.

The sergeant major of Airborne Brigade sold the rations of the scad at the Internet auction molto.
He was dismissed on disciplinary grounds.
It will become very unfeasibly to get JSDF ration from now on...

You think some people might be more careful to avoid these problems. Oh well I guess, I'll look for other routes. You don't suppose civilian versions exists for these meals?
