HungryMan -

I agree.

In short, my answer is the prices will continue as long as the market supports it.

This is why with few instances Im now looking for individual components to build my own meals using a mix of mil-spec and COTS items suited to my tastes.

I guess I'm still stuck in the times when cases of the 1st generation MRE's were in the high-$20 to low-$30 range.
