Boy-howdy you said it! I can't help but always try to get at least one extra of whatever goes into the collection for personal consumption. I collect really really old civilian food as well though I'll admit I haven't had the courage to eat anything from my collection older than the 60s other than gum. Haven't had any gastric problems as a result so I'll keep at it! Most of the really rare and good looking stuff is still too rich for my blood though.
