He seems okay in my book, never a problem with him either on ebay or off. He's pretty flexible on shipping I noticed. I guess everybody's got some flaws with them somewhere....But thanks for the background story, I guess we'll just be a little more cautious.
My only issue with him as a seller and board member is the refusal to respond to inquiries. He sells rations on eBay, but over the last year has ignored 3 or 4 messages I've sent through here and eBay just asking him if he could let me know what else he has (since he seems to only put up one or two rations of one type at a time, but always has the slightly more rare stuff and occasionally foreign stuff in the US) and haven't ever once heard back from him. After a few messages, but before the last one I tried sending, I even ordered $50 worth of items from him on eBay and attached a question to my order that was completely ignored so he was aware of me, took the time to pack a package and address it to me and mail it, but couldn't even take five seconds to say "hey, I'd prefer not to work out any deals - I'm happy just selling one thing at a time on eBay", assuming that's his position. I was looking to clean him out ration-wise and really, what seller wouldn't like to sell their stock? I just don't get it. Oh well. Items were in good condition with one exception - the pictures hid the fact that he had hole-punched each ration pack (I'm assuming to hang on a rack?), but that sort-of defeats the purpose of a sealed meal... I wish he'd have mentioned that or shown it in the images so that's all I'd say to keep in mind, but otherwise I see no reason not to buy from him as long as you don't have ANY questions because he'll never respond.
