PablosCave - World Wide Trader [EU]
Re: PablosCave - World Wide Trader [EU]
You seriously want to argue with someone IN GERMANY about GERMAN rations, someone who has several years of dealing with German rations, and has been associated with Verpflegungsamt and seen the rations first hand....and say he's lying?
You are a special kind of arrogant, ain't you!
Dude, give it up. You burnt your bridges here, and burn more everytime you open your mouth.
Let me offer you a piece of advice...when you're in a hole, it's wise to stop digging...

Sorry, had to trim the drivel that spews from your mouth to get to your actual statements.PablosCaveShop wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:04 am
My friend im not arrogant. You just judge the cover of a book whiteout knowing it or reading it, so better read some books before You judge it.
(Snip)
So if You need something feel free to make a buy, only what You can lose by ordering something at my place is time, which is 12 weeks from the border time.
Yes, you are a very arrogant entitled piece of....work. And now we have proof your packages are getting raided too, which renders that bragging moot.
I shall now give you a distinction, you will be the second person in my over half a decade in this forum that I block. Altho, I don't see you being here much longer, so it may be a short block.
Don't bother replying, I will never see it.
Good day, and may you reap what you have sewn.

Pabloscave!
just give up trying to impress people here, we have been doing this for years and many of of us have been and still are in the military working with multi national forces and know what rations look like. You wrote in in one of your posts: Im here for business as You are. We in the mreinfo community are here for the Hobby of collecting rations and having FUN like reviews and sharing pictures of rare rations, that means that we trade and some sell their rations spares we don't do this for BIG money or business!!
when it comes to customs and shipping:we al have lost rations when shipping, doesn't matter what paper you have the customs in the different countries don't care what you have of paper work they work by the law in their land!
shipping by plain, train, boat, truck, donkey its the same custom in the receiving end.
so a kind advise stick to ebay, if any members or others want any thing they find it.
Norge.

Sorry, I pass on this one. I wanted to add some observations about your offering of German EPAs, but thankfully eistee beat me to it. I've been on and off this board since 2005 (sorry kman for the double registration!), just an ex-army guy who happens to have tasting MREs from around the world as an occasional interest-18 countries (collected) so far is not that bad in this regard. But if I want to try one, I'd get the real deal, not some civilian imitation, and except for really rare and sought-after rations I never paid more than 10-25€ including shipping for a single ration.PablosCaveShop wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 6:19 pmI invite You for a try, You live not far away, the delivery time will be like 14 days.![]()
BTW: Austrian rations have always been a bit obscure, even amongst the users with the most knowledge here. I think it was confirmed that Austria uses simple relabelled Travellunch "day packs", which can also be bought as a civilian. Unless Austria, like Germany for the time being outsourced it's EPA to Jomibsa (which I haven't heard of so far), your claim that Austrian and German rations as a whole come from the same source is therefore false. And certainly NOT for 20 years.
Military rations I have...
tested: Germany, USA, UK, France, Norway, Canada, Lithuania
acquired but yet to try: Australia, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Russia (Mountain, IRP), Ukraine

Time for Admins to close this thread.

The USDA/US Customs can search any package they want. It doesn't matter if its 1 item or 100 items.
Shipping by Boat, plane, truck... it doesn't matter. Once a package reaches US (and others) soil it needs to comply with the current laws. This mostly became an issue when mad cow disease came around in the mid 80s. People were getting sick so they did what our taxes pay them to do. Is it a pain to lose a bunch of your items, you bet, but that's their job and ultimately they are just trying to keep people safe.
The best example I can give you is foreignmre.com. USDA/US Customs hit them so hard that they stopped selling most foreign rations.
You cant make money when half your shipment is confiscated...and this happened to them almost everytime.
This happens to all of us, at some point, it's part of the gamble when you buy foreign rations.
This is an example for you. This ration was opened by Customs, and they confiscated the main. Foreignmre.com substituted the main for a USDA compliant item:

You've lost this war, and any buyer you could possibly get off here. I'd advise just packing your bags, and heading out.
