Trusted Ebay Sellers
Firstly id like to say hello to all, ive been lurking around this place for a while, and most useful it has been and continues to be.
I was reading through the board and it struck me that there was no thread where people could go to find out who the good ration vendors on the Ebay sites are.
So i thought id be bold and start one, feel free to add on your own experiences.
As i am based in the UK all the sellers i list are from the .co.uk site.
Username: Hooberbear
Primarily Dutch packs, in bulk, but a top bloke, helpful and informative.
He usually sells the breakfast and dinner packs in bulks of 10, and the main meal cans in bulks of 20. Postage within the UK around a week and pretty fair .
Usename: Daisycutter71
Mainly bulk selection of Brit meal pouches, some good deals can be had from this seller, friendly comms and reasonably quick postage.
Username: Nidgeybatfink
By far the best rats vendor i have dealt with on Ebay, deals mainly in US Mre's, although does stock French, German and Canadian from time to time. Postage usually by next-day DHL courier so no waiting for Royal Snail, fast and supremely knowledgable and efficient. Most highly recommended.
There are a couple of others i have dealt with but only for odds and sods, these guys are my primary dealers i go to and ive never had a bad experience with any one of them.
So whos your favourites then?

Good thread - glad to see it got started.
For me, it's not so much the best sellers as it is the worst. I mean, I'm all for posting the vendors you've used and trust, but for me, that's not too many. I'll buy an auction here or there but none of the ones I've used have been around for more than couple of months. Most of the time, it's someone who came into a few cases of MREs and wanted to get rid of them. Or there was that guy who had a bunch of German rations from Katrina. A few of us bought out his supply and now he's not selling anymore.
There's another thread on here called "eBay asshats" where we call out the really bad sellers.
But let's keep this thread about the good sellers. The only seller I can (sort of) offer is CAJUNANGEL (formerly CAJUNCLARA...and you don't you dare spell it in lowercase :-) ).
I can't say as I've dealt personally with CLARA, but she's been on eBay for what seems like 7 years and while she might not have the lowest prices, she always seems to have a good supply.

Ha, thank ya C-Rats. Nice to be welcomed.
Kman, i understand the issue with people usually just selling a case here or there that they have come across, this is why ive listed vendors that have repeated business with. Any chance of a link to the asshats thread to save me some time searching? Would like to know who to avoid.
Anyway nice to be here...now im off to see who i can fob a cheese omelette entre off on

Here you go, Kowalski:

Unfortunately, I've discovered a fatal flaw in our "asshats" thread...the fact that after 90 days, eBay deletes the auction listing. I'm going to start trying to take screen shots of asshat auctions so we can at least have a record in the thread of what we were talking about.

Ta Kman, your idea is sound if you can keep the photos to a reasonable filesize, otherwise i reckon just name and shame the rip off merchants that plague ebay.
I am constantly disgusted by hearing how cheap Mre's are in the US, we get hammered for them over here, likewise Brit packs that end i presume.
Shipping is a joke, i was quoted $17 for a cd from the US, laugh? i nearly had an accident lol.
Now if someone was to open up a mutual import/export company.........

Hi all,
Kowalski, on my side I'm always terrified by the shipping fees on eBay-UK (specially to the continent)!
There's a lot of interesting auctions beyond the Channel but paying 20£ S&H for a 6 quid box is not a very exciting option...
I LOVE BEANS but I always hesitate when I see a cheap British ration …and then the shipping charges to Brittany…

In principio erat spamum
A German seller has cases of UK packs (10 x 24h rations) for 125 Euros + 25 Euros to send to Spain, which I assume would be the same for France. I haven't bought from him (yet...) but I have communicated and he sent a clear and fast reply. It makes a per-pack cost of 15 euros.
