I've also had some bags that were just air...
I guess the packaging machines screw up once in a while..
After all, " It's good enough for Goverment work "
I have also heard that if there's a pinhole, the stuff will evaporate ! I don't know if this true or a myth...

every bag which was only powder in was open at the side for about 1 to 20 mm. but some bags which are completely ok only contains the half trioxane bar in it.
really a strange thing...

It makes me wonder if maybe those trioxane bars spent some time in an airplane. Maybe the pressure differential cause some of the air-tight packages to expand and contract, causing small openings in the packaging through which the trioxane could evaporate.
