Hi all,
After a very long abcence here again.
I have 6 boxes of Dutch MRE’s from the early 80’s.
5 complete ones and one box that has been broken up.
That last box is missing one ration.
Anyone interested?
Cheers

What are you asking for a case roughly?
Re: WTS Dutch 80’s mre
Hi there, I am looking for 20 euro per crate (of 10 rations).

I have no problem eating rations as old as me
but do you know anything about how these were stored? Have you opened one to see if they are edible?
Shipping to the US will be high, any idea what that would be?

I am pretty sure that sending these MRE's o the US would be prohibited. Besides that and as you say, the cost of shipping would be enormous.
Also, as these MRE's are cardboard packed instead of plastic, like the US ones, I would say they are totally unfit for human consumption.
As for storage: in their 40 year lifetime, it would be honest to assume, they were probably been stored under the worst conditions.
So in short, I would strongly advise NOT eating these as there is a 99 % chance of getting sick. They are only for collectable purposes.
