Mark 9 emergency ration

Post by summer100 » Mon Dec 07, 2020 1:03 pm

Hello everyone! Happy holidays! I was wondering if anyone would be willing to sell a Mark 9 emergency ration. I have been searching for one for about a year and a half and I’ve come to realize maybe I’m not as good at finding rare rations as most of y’all (haha). There is one for sale on eBay but it’s to expensive for me  Thank you for your time! ps if anyone has one but doesn’t want to sell (which I totally get LOL) would you be willing to tell me the price you got it for so hopefully I won’t get ripped off in the future? Thank you so much!

Dont let listings confuse you.
These are not carried by the SAS.
These are not carried by helicopters
These are only carried in fast jets, Tornado, F-35, Eurofighter Typhoon, Hawk T1, Jet provost etc

Just take a peeksie at the National Service Number / Nato Stock Number!

Mark 9 is: 8970-99-748-7760, its manufacturer description is:
"Emergency Flying
Ration Mk 9
(Scaled for fixed and rotary
winged aircraft)"

So TLDR: Its mainly used for fast jets, but can sometimes be used for rotary aicraft (Due to its nature i would assume mainly the apache as it has 2 crew and 0 passengers - as long as the royal marines dont strap themselves to the side again....)
