As the ad implies I am interested in a trying a couple of MCW's and would trade one of my first gen 1981 production Cadillac Products MRE menus for 2 for MCW menus. I do not have a lot of 1st gen MRE's and the ones I own , I have had in my possession for a long time well over 25 years . I can provide a list of the menus I have available to interested parties .
Thanks so much and I appreciate any and all interest .

Hi Sam, no disrepect intended, but thats is going to be a tough trade unless someone has a pile of mcw they are looking to get rid of.
Dudeman just flooded the market will climate controlled brown baggers that most of us already bought.
I'd be glad to do some trades with you in the future. PM me.

Got a pic of menu you are trading?
I may be game. Would like one of the oldies on my shelf.
Lord knows I threw many away not realizing I should be keeping for nostalgia reasons. Lol

I will get you a pic this evening and let you have your pic. FWIW what it's worth and you may or may not care is because I want to use the MCW's for cycle touring , not collecting. I will actually be eating them and making a decision as to whether or not I can live with the quality and taste of the food.blue87fj60 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 7:03 pmGot a pic of menu you are trading?

I have used conventional MRE's in the past and they certainly work, but since I am the motor and weigh. t is a consideration the MCW should be lighter since they are dehydrated

A Russian IRP-BS may be worth looking into as well. Delicious freeze dried 24hr ration. Although a little light on calories, so plan accordingly.

You will need to supply a decent amount of hot water though. I use a Jet Boil. Usually go an ounce or two below what’s recommended. My personal preference.

Re: WTT 1 Caddy Products MRE Menu for 2 MCW's
OK I went through my case of Caddy Products MRE's and here is what I have .
I will give you your choice of the available MRE's Menu's I have . All are in nice shape visually and when I unearthed these from storage a few months ago I did eat one of them , and with the exception of the crackers and cookies the entree . dehydrated strawberries and York caramels was edible and I did consume them .
I would have gotten this done earlier but on labor day my best friend of 30 years died of a heart attack over labor day and I had a funeral to attend the following weekend . Any way here are the menus I have to trade . all are 1981 Caddy Products all of the items in the meal I opened were packed in 1980 and the case indicates it was packed in 1981 with a 1983 inspection date.
Menu 4 Beef slices in BBQ Sauce
Menu 6 Frankfurters aka the four fingers of death
Menu 8 Beef diced with Gravy
Menu 10 Meatballs in BBQ Sauce
Menu 12 - Beef Ground with Spiced Sauce ( same menu I opened when I wanted to see how these fared after a few decades should have strawberries in it for the free dried fruit as the other one I opened did .
Let me know if you are interested in any of these and I am happy to let your have your pick .
