And then there is this guy in germany https://www.ebay.de/itm/C-Ration-Origin ... Sw4GVYMJQl
He tried to sell this empty MCI case for well over 2 years now and nobody wants it
The worst thing is that all those cans in there were full, but he opened all from the bottom and threw the contents straight in the bin.

Gotta love when the seller opens to show contents or even worse removes the contents to "do you a favor" of sorts.

It means their curiosity got the best of them. They wanted the experience and the feeling of opening something. Then a buyer's remorse occurs and still try to make $ after the deed.

Best part? The opener pretty much never take pictures and absolutely never film it.

This will all keep happening.

I've seen that a couple of times, and god does it bother me! It seems like such a sleezy move, and seeing at C-Rations are rare as they are, it's such a stake to my heart to see them go to waste. I have only been able to fully document one of them, sadly, but it leaves less of them to the real professionals, yenno :)
What irks me the most, besides them not documenting it, is trying to pawn them off to people, after ripping them open as a "favor of their good will." when all it is, at the end of the day, was them trying to make a buck off of something they threw most of away. First World problems I guess, but still sad non the less.
Killed by rancid pound-cake. I know that will be on my tomb stone.

kration, your collection is astounding! The M units are pretty uncommon by this point.

You have the tall B units. Those were 9 biscuits and the coffee portion was I believe .25 oz more.

I have one of those in my collection and is marked 7-40. Key on the top.

Thank you for sharing, as always a wonderful sight.
