I was looking on ebay today and their is an auction up cases of mre's under the brand name "GOLDEN SEASON." Has seen anyone heard of these before, I never have. The guy is asking $50 per case or best offer

It looks like there are 2 different types of packages in the box. Dark colored and clear plastic packs.[/url]

Funny you should mention that auction - I saw it last night and didn't recognize it. It looks like a Singapore manufacturer of MREs. I'd be interested to see what's inside the case but I don't think I'd spend $50 plus shipping.

I don't know what the food tastes like, but coming from singapore, I would expect only the best quality...

If I wasn't broke right now, I'd give them a try !

I did try to get that guy in China to sell me some MRE type food they make, I know it's a pretty old thread, but they had some real interesting looking items.. i should try and look him up again since I'm headed to China in a few months..

I looked at this auction again. The guy won the case with a best offer of $35. Hope he enjoys them, the entrees looked kind of odd to me
