MRE menus 21-24

Post by FunkOffJack » Wed Jan 04, 2017 9:39 am

Hi everyone,

I have been bidding on 4 US MREs from 2015 on ebay (I know, i know!) and with shipping the price is quickly going above what they are actually worth. My 6 year old daughter wants to do a review like Kiwi Dude and his little one so I am trying to be a good dad and go along with it.

The EBay auction is http://www.ebay.com/itm/262783699110 So far with shipping and exchange I'm looking at almost $100 CAD for 4 where I can get a full case for about $30 more. I am hoping that someone on here has the last 4 menus (21-24) from case B made in 2015 that they are willing to let go.

If anyone does, please let me know.

Thanks,

FunkOffJack

Thanks for the very quick response. I am currently the winning bidder but wont be increasing my bid. I am likely to lose and I am ok with that. When I do, I will PM you for more details.

Thanks again!

I wonder why they are asking for so much to ship to Canada. shipping for me is only $11.50. Must have something to do with crossing the border, I don't profess to know much about shipping.

I did place an order a few days ago for one of that seller's lot of MREs. I have a hunch that those MREs are 2016 DoP because one of the lots has a Elbow Macaroni MRE, which debuted last year. I'm definitely looking forward to trying it.

If you had posted this a few weeks ago I would have been able to hook you up, they were the last 4 I had left from my B Menu case, but only 2 left now, and both pouches are already open. Being in Canada as well would have helped with shipping.
If i get some again later I'll let you know.

Getting stuff shipped to Canada from anywhere is a bit pricey these days. With exchange it adds about 30% to the posted USD prices. It adds up quickly. The only place to get inexpensive shipping seems to be from China. I order alot online and it seems that shipping from there is always reasonable. For example, I order about $80-100 from my go-to place in China and getting DHL to deliver it in 3-5 days is only $20 or so. Less if i want to wait for the slow boat And that's not including the constant stream of $1-$2 eBay items that always ship for free.

Tell me about it.... trying to buy stuff like ammunition online and have it shipped to Newfoundland is basically impossible to do and save any money, unless you use canadaammo.com because they offer free shipping if your order is over $200 or $250. You come across a good buy on a case of 9mm or .45 ACP or something, but then shipping ends up costing just as much or more than the case of ammo... insanity.
