Gulf War Era MRE Cases for sale!

Post by SentientTootsieRoll » Wed Aug 10, 2016 1:11 pm

Hi everyone, here's my first post here at MREinfo!

If you want full cases of Gulf War era MREs...I have not the slightest idea where this seller found eleven of them at, but 7 are left at $45 + shipping per case.

I wonder where they got so many! I did order a few of the individual meals listed by the same seller, most of the food was still good, with the exception of the beef frankfurters. And they were from 1987!

Anyway, just tossing this out there for anyone who may be interested. I'm not affiliated with the seller in any way.

I'm strongly considering ordering two of these, one for eating/exploring, the other for leaving intact. Ideally, I'd like to ship a case to the military ration museum for preservation purposes, but I'm not sure where exactly to ship them to. Their website doesn't appear to be in working order, including the "submit an artifact" link. As a big archivist who does not have a whole lot in the way of storing items properly, I'm really interested in donating items to them.

Send a PM to "Ruleryak" here in the forums. He is the person in charge of the ration museum project, and would be the one to talk to about the museum. Hope this helps! :)
