Hi norge,
I have a large number of French RCIR rations. They are reasonable fresh (experation date nov 2005-mar 2006). Tonight I ate the Tuna Fish with Potatoes and it tasted fairly good. I also tried the puding and snacks. All were GOOD.
Although these are not MRE's , maybe you are interested in swapping some for Brit Arctic rat's?

BTW: Did you know the Danish Army have also a sort of MRE? The Danish have small cardboard packs with a Lunch meal in it. The one I have, has a tin can (chicken curry), a sack with dry rice, 2 dried choco drinks, tea, salt, pepper, napkin, matches, tooth cleaner.

hello norge,
thanx for the trade. I've also sent you an email.

---

Dear other Ration Afficionados,
the British arctic rations 'norge' has are surely worth the trouble of trading! We did a swap of RCIR's against the Brit rations.
These arctic rations are fresh and complete with nice freeze dried meals.
Recommended!

I have to second aquarius' comments. I've done two trades with norge; and, they were well worth the effort. He is a fair trader and communicates well to insure a smooth trade. Any chance you get to trade with him, I would encourage you to try to do it.

The Norge experience!!!

Post by madcapmagician » Mon Jul 24, 2006 10:13 pm

I traded Norge some mre's for a british and a norwegian ration. He is great to trade with. When I received my package from him it had been ripped apart and the Norwegian ration sliced open. Customs destroyed both the lunch and dinner entrees. Several other things were missing from it too. :x :x It was suppose to be because; they might have mad cow disease in them   The lunch entree didn't even have any meat in it, so I'm like "what the hell." But the great guy that he is Norge sent me 2 replacement entrees and other goodies. So I whole heartedly concur, if you have a chance to trade with him just say Yes :!: :!: Norge, keep up the good work :D :D
