Being new to the site Ive missed quite a bit. So I would like to post here a list of the ration items Im always interested in should anyone have any excess stocks (no such thing!) or might know someone that does. My interests primarily revolve around U.S.-issue rations from 1938 to the mid-late 1970s. Im interested in complete sealed/ banded cases, partial cases, individual components, empty cases and packaging. Such items sought include:
B-rations (dehydrated/ freeze dried/ "wet" packed in larger OD or reflective tins)
C-rations (M-Units/ B-Units/ early and late war)
D-rations
K-rations (early and late)
Group rations (5-in-1/ 10-in-1/ etc.)
Rations C-2 thru C-10
Ration, Combat, Individual or Ration,Individual, Combat (RCI/ RIC)
Food, Packet, Individual, Assault or (FPIA)
Meal, Combat, Individual
Food Packet, Long Range Patrol (LRP ration)
Project, Indigenous, Ration (PIR aka "Indigenous Ration")
Ration, Supplemental, Sundries Pack (SP)
Australian Vietnam-era Combat Rations and Components
Miscellaneous tinned/ bagged ration componets (example would be "Milk, Sterilized, Canned, Chocolate-Flavored")
I am also interested in individual components and ingredients used by mess facilities to produce various foods such as fresh-baked bread, main dishes, desserts, and so on. Nobody interested in the full or partial case of baking flour or granulated sugar thats 35 years old? I probably am!
I look foward to see what anyone has to offer!
