Hey Ken,

You don't EVEN wanna know! It was totally outrageous to ship a box to Germany ( $200 ), so I can just imagine. Plus they say your not suppose to ship these airmail because of the heaters. Maybe you guys know something we don't but thats what they tell us on eBay.

HDR's don't have heaters....the only thing they have in the new ones is 1 box of matches.

Yea...I know. Someone reminded me of that earlier. But they still cost alot to ship. They actually weight 24lbs instead of 22 like regular MRE's.

True...they are heavier than a MRE because they have the food of 2 MRE's in one package....

Just wanted to let everyone know I ordered two cases from darrad79, and both arrived quickly and in good shape. Were sent out same day payment was received via PayPal.

I have only opened one of the HDRs so far as I am on a diet and they are VERY high calorie, but I sampled the fruit pastry (which was apple) and it was still quite good. The fig bar absolutely amazed me though. I have never seen an MRE component that moist and tender! I gave half of it to a co-worker who stated it was the best Fig Newton she'd ever tasted. THanks again darrad79!

Hey no problem ! Glad you were satisfied with 'em.

I STILL have 2 cases of HDR's and 1 case with one meal missing from it if anyone is interested.

To tell you the truth, I really don't want to mess with shipping overseas. Its a hassle and its very costly. But if you live here in the states, I'll usually ship it out that day.
