I recently got this...2 soviet compasses ,1 civilian ,1 military

Soviet civillian compass. What is interesting is that the cardinal points are NSOW which are in German : NORD SÜD OST WEST as in Russian is " cebep/Sever (N), yug (S), boctok/vostok (E), zapad (W)" in cyrillic,as you can see on the top one.

But as you can see clearly it was made in the Soviet Union-CCCP...

I'm looking for a Gorka cap used in Afghanistan. Size 63... :mrgreen:
This type.Specially because of the flap that protects the back of the neck like the old Jobbers hats. :D
I got the image from this site since it was the only one that had the pic of the cap .

That's a new commercially produced cap. Not of Soviet production.
