That slipped my eye, but still €5 is to much for a single use metal plate for me..
I know that you need to make your living with it, and that they are probably more expensive to buy, but I'm simply looking for someone that ate some RCIRs and didn't use the stoves

I don't like esbit, but AK70 requested some from Romania, and he couldn't find any there..
Sure, someone may one day kill me with my own gun.
But they'll have to beat me to death with it because it's empty.

its no problem :)

but how already said - the "single use" ones surely wont be more than 2-3 euro... 5 euro is nearly the price for the little foldable stove including esbit.

other thing:
you said you dont like esbit? let me guess: you like the nl army hexamine?

Nope, hexamine, gecomprimeerd is Dutch esbit, made by ESBIT, in a OD green pack.. Same tablets, same stuff..

When it burns, it leaves a tar like substance on pans and pots. Also, it's poisonous, it stinks, and the black stuff on the pans is sticky.

I prefer alcohol burners, like the swiss notkocher 71, american and british wood alcohol, etc..
