1992 MRE case, Fully Stocked, for sale!

Post by Treesuit » Mon Jan 26, 2009 12:56 am

Hey Guys,

Here is a good deal for anybody who is interested. I have a mint condition April 8, 1992 case of MRE's with an inspection date of April 1995. All the entree's are still in the case, numbered in order. No swelling, or bursting just a little dust on them from being in the case. The only thing missing is the outer sleeve. Does show some shelf wear on the protective sleeve.

The story behind this is that a few weeks ago at my work place an older gentleman came in one morning and asked if I like MRE's. I said 'yes" he then proceeded to go back out to his truck and came in with this case. He said he got it from a friend in Georgia over the X-mas break and that gentleman didn't want it anymore, so he brought it home and then brought it to work. I couldn't believe what I saw. I unfortunately I have no room in my apartment for this so I figured somebody here might want it for their collection or maybe do a test taste for the forum.

I really don't want to go through the hassle of putting it up on ebay so this will be a first come-first served basis. I know shipping will be high, especially for the EU members but on here we can always work something out. Also I know some folks would be interested in getting a full case so this a great opportunity.

Also I have a large amount of C-Rat/MCI accessory packs for sale. These, came from the same unknown person in GA and for some reason I can't find any dates on them that would clue you in to their manufacturing time frame. So I am going to lump them into the C-Ration/MCI category and dole them as novelty items. These all come with basic condiments in them. I've provided pictures but the accessory packet didn't come out to good, so I apologize. These too came in a older MRE case dated 1992.

The price I'll put on the full MRE case will be $30.00 USD and I'll go $0.30 for each A-pack, thanks.

Treesuit, I wouldn't mind having them. Any Idea how much shipping is going to be?

Do any of the apacks have any cigs in them?

accesory pack was abbreviated earlier A-pack. I guess my further abbreviation is too closed to the apack meals. Sorry my bad. Do any of the accesory packs have cigs. :D

Guys,

Hey the accessory packs don't have any cigs in them, they are kind fo post-cigarettes. I do have quite a few of them and I am still working on the postage for those that are interested in the MRE's. I haven't had a whole lot of time lately due to work. Hopefully tommorrow I'll have some more info. Thanks

Hey everyone,

Here's an update:

For anyone in the US, shipping is kind of dependent on the zip code. So if your interested send me your zip code.

For everyone else, shipping will be the same way but for your home country. Norge, I found out that for shipping to Norway it will be $87.50USD for US Post Office Priority mail. Shipping will take 6-10 days.

Also I haven't had any other offers for the accessory packs, they are still available. :D
