Hi guys! After lurking around on this site for about a month I had to join. I also had to order a case of fresh Menu C Mre's from MreDepot.Com and they will be in my hands within two days.
I was just wondering if anyone would like to trade me for some Euro Rations for example...French, British, German, whatever.. I'd just like to compare.
Also I might have a source for South Korean MRE's but, I'll let you guys know when that is a definite.
I'm up for trades so please contact me
Thanks
Mike

Thanks for the warm welcome K Man and for some reliable info on the Korean MRE's.kman wrote:Welcome to the forums, Mkim340518. I'd definitely be interested in hearing about the South Korean MREs. I think our resident East-Asian rations expert, katojapan, might have or have seen some of those but I know some of us would sure like to try them ourselves.
Of course being Korean MRE's our main dish is white rice...mmmm
and a bunch of side dishes. It also comes in a clear plastic pouch with the Korean army logo on the bag in blue.
Other than that my cousin who is an KAF officer..Korean Air Force, told me that his MRE's we're pretty good and the meals tasted like Korean civilian microwavable meals. So, I'm betting they are pretty good especially according to a Koreans taste...got Kimchee LOL!!

Anyway I'll try to acquire some of these from Korea and as soon as I get them I'll share with you guys...I just ask that you guys give me your honest opinion about them.
Thanks
Mike K
