Post by [ex-Member1] » Wed Feb 03, 2016 2:49 pm

Hello mates.

Some of you already know Lars who is posting youtube videos as Survival Russia. In his last video he shows russian fuel tablets and one entree from the Russian 24h ration. Tablet is working very well

Great vid and good shots of the meat, carrots and peas main course. I have used the mini stove before and found they have good fuel blocks. The fact that they put that in their rations is a plus as you can make tea or heat soup at a later time.

I agree. The fact that a lot of foreign rations have disposable stove w/fuel shows where the US really dropped the ball with a lowly book of matches...
it is what it is....

He is originally from Danemark that's why he speaks English with germanish accent, married a Russian and he lives somewhere in Moscow area. He is a buff for army surplus and since I love that kind of stuff I found him in this massive flood of survivalist youtube channels.

He shows a lot of Russian gear too, often he is out in Gorka suite with Partizan camo blocks. Guy even wears WH Splintertarn anorak and pants (Miltec copy anorak it seems, but nonetheless). Even Edelweiss sleeve patch for mountain units.

Today I started watching his videos. I like that guy and - yes - his "passion" for German clothing especially the German hat
