How about a MRE price ticker?

Post by Hardtack » Tue Jun 10, 2008 12:06 am

Somewhere on the website that shows current MRE case prices highest and lowest.

Don't know if its technically possible. It would be nice to have it sourced from the major vendors & ebay.

That's a pretty good idea - I'm just not sure technically how we'd do it.

Yeah Hardtack has a sensible idea on creating a financial analysis tool
of MRE prices. That kind of information would be very useful to some.

SEC filings and bankruptcy data would be part of that financial analysis reporting.

If your interested in public filings and wanted to know more than you ever needed to know about a company I've provided the link to the Securities and Exchange Commissions website. I chose The Wornick company as an example.

In finance lingo you can look for company filings that are required by law such as 5k reports and so forth. You have to drill in to get to the actual reports themselves.
