C'mon lurkers, join up, clearly you're interested, I don't think there are any other boards out there like this, and frankly the more the merrier. I'm surprised to see there are that many people looking that haven't registered.

While I'm happy to see as many people as possible join, I'm not going to give the lurkers too hard of a time. I lurk myself on a few boards and understand how that goes - sometimes you're interested in the subject but you just don't have bandwidth available to join and be able to post all the time.

But if you're lurking on are on the fence, join up! The more, the merrier!

One other note about those numbers, BigMark. I just checked this morning and there is one registered user (me) and five guests online. The the five guests are almost all search engine robots indexing posts. One *might* be a human. So those numbers about who is online might be a little misleading.

We had the same topic in our German forum before. So (to) many "guests" in the forum...
The Admin also explained that these are just searching robots, checking forums for email adresses, phone numbers etc for spaming them.
Therefore they recommend to replace the "@" from your adresse to a word like "at"

I frequently just lurk rather than logging on. I usually just log on if I have something to post.

I only post occasionally when I feel I have something genuine to add to the debate....I frequent too many boards where the threads are made up of 50 posts or so- 1 original point and 49 people saying one sentance variations on the theme of 'Me too!'.....

Quite!....It's currently 9.55pm in Wolverhampton (twinned with Beiruit) ATM, and the clock is showing 3.56am.
