Webmaster on strike?

Post by ak70g2 » Wed Aug 01, 2007 1:38 pm

Yo, KMan, you're on strike? You let us, your devoted ( :P ) fans without any new things to read? I check the forums and is plenty of pics and intel about cookers and foreign rations, you need just to compile and add to site!

PS. Is any US serviceman here witch will come to Mihail Kogalniceanu airbase in Romania, contact me if you need help. I live within 50 miles (85 km) of your base.

I hear you ak70g2! It pains me everytime I look at the site and then look at the huge folder of MRE-related stuff I still need to add.

But I have to keep working my real job to pay the bills and keep my wife with a house over her head and food (at least MREs) on the table. I'd love for this to be a full time job because then I could spend all day keeping this place updated.

Know anyone who wants to fund a MRE-related site developer at an outrageous salary? :-)

I was always amazed of you, americans. Here, in good old Europe, we, the men, send our wives to work, sharing our revenues and expenses. If you don't believe, ask the german and swedish members of the forum! They launch this fashion...

So, my advice is: Send your wife to work and make your damn job in mantaining this site. Make your wife happy, but don't forget US!

Heh heh...sorry, that wasn't me. Maybe someone has been hitting the vodka, schnaps, and cognac a little too hard while reading the forums? :-)

Sure thing - count me in. I just need to come up with the US$1200 plane ticket to Romania (I just checked - Charlotte to Washington DC to Munich to Bucharest) but I can be there in a couple of days.

I'll glad to make you a warm welcome! But don't be sad, you'll have free acomodation, only organic food and plenty of booze and things to see!
