New logo poll

Hi guys. I've been playing around with a new logo for the site (actually, a new site altogether, but I'm just playing with the logo for now because that's about all the time I have right before Christmas).

As you can see from the forum site, I already put a new logo up just for kicks. But I have a few different designs that I threw together and thought I'd see which one you guys liked best. Or heck...if you have the time and think you can do better, feel free to send your suggestions my way.

Anyway...here are the candidates:

I like #4, but the MRE case has a hazy look to it. Did you put some kind of transparency feature on it with a photo editing progam? I went with #2 instead, but #4 could use some improvment. Actually if the transparency was taken off and the bands taken off of the box and the box was turned on its side that read MEAL, READY TO EAT, then that would have gotten my vote.

I Would Dump The mre Case.
Show Samples Of Individual Mre/Mcw/Canadian/German/Ect Ration photos

since this site caters to all military rations.
Looking At The logo Size Restrictions I think Thats not a problem.

That's a good suggestion, MreKampr. I'm just not sure how that would be laid out without taking up a huge amount of room on the banner. As it is, The current small banner is about 100x300 pixels and I can't quite see how that'd be laid out. What did you have in mind?
