Here's the link to mreheater's review of a 31 year old MCI pound cake:

This posting is in reply to the recent video of a retiring Army Colonel who opens up a 40 year old MCI pound and compares it to a more recent MRE pound cake:

Does Anyone know if the pound cake is stil in existence today? It does not need to be canned, but I do know that it was made in Texas by Eunice King's Kitchen, which if I am correct, was taken over by Yahoo*Baking Company which is in business today. A friend of mine, yes, a retired colonel, and his buddies only want to get some of this pound cake. If you know if Yahoo*Baking has it under aother name or where it can be purchased, please let me know and if possible, respond to my email at Hymie3@aol.com
Thanks
