I know a way we could still do this. You can create location files in google earth that you can save and download and it shows the saved locations on there.
We just simply post our city and/or country in a thread, I add it to the google map file and I just have to make sure that I update and re-upload the file which you download for the most up to date locations.
It would be easy since I guess there wouldn't be too many to add. When I get back from work, I'll start a file and use some of the locations that members have on their profile to get it going to show you what I mean
