I'll miss the chicken and salsa, it's great when you mix in the mexican rice, one of my personal favs.. I'm more afraid of what the brisket is going to taste like. BBQ sauce with beef, chunked and formed? Scary. OTOH, it could be a lot better than I think, I just sort of doubt it, I'm thinking pork rib made of beef. We'll see. They need to stick in a pack of pickle relish with it and a slice of white bread. Mmmm.. I guess maybe we do it a lil' different in Texas tho. Corn bread has potential.. it seems like the one thing retort packaging really lends itself to is doing really good bread/cake products. One can hope.

Maple Sausage? WTF? YUCK!

On the other hand, Buffalo chicken sounds good. And I am glad to see they still have the Mexican ones, such at Chicken Fajita and Beef Enchilada.

Big Mark, I agree with you on the Chicken and Salsa one...that is one of my favs.

I like maple sausage as well. But, being a Canadian I almost have to like it.

You guys would have hated the maple syrup farm I visited as a kid. It was a buffet of home made food with all the real (not that fake crap) maple syrup you could handle.

Mmmmmm, good.

Filthy rat bastages took out the 'Loaf  Whats this world coming to? Not cool.

I'd really like to try out the brisket. As a BBQ'er, I'd like to imagine strips, or shredded smoked beefy goodness, even try some bark, but I have a feeling
this'll end up being more like chip beef drowned in 'que sauce.

While maple sausage is alot better than that vomelette, I am having flashbacks to 4 fingers of death  Be nice to see the brekkie menu have something
decent like the IMP sausage and hash browns, rather than a packet of sausage and a side of potatoes, which, hells bells I don't see anymore, be it mash or shredded.

Eman,

Hey have you seen the shredded hasbrown with bacon? They're not so bad, :)

Sure have, and they are a personal favorite. One thing I noticed is the differences in taste and packaging. The SopakCo one is better tasting and has a 'creamier' texture, and the Ameriqual is somewhat bland and has a more firm 'drier' consistency

Mr. Eman,

I agree with you on the Ameriqual version. Bland and not much taste unless you douse it with bacon salt, then it's absolutely wonderful.
