2009 MRE Menus

I noticed that menu items 3 & 17 include accessory packet D for both the 2008 and 2009 menus.

There were D and even E accessory packets in older menus, but only A, B, and C are listed on those menus. Was that a typo or is there another type of packet?

Big Galloot - no, no typo...just me forgetting to update the accessory packs, too. But I just updated them so check it out again. Interesting changes in the accessory packs - matches were taken out of two of them and in one of the packs with coffee (pack D), they removed the sugar but included Splenda (though technically on the menu they called it "Sucralose" - I changed it to Splenda).

To add on to my last post...here's what I noticed about the new menus.

2009 Items IN:
Buffalo chicken
Beef brisket
Maple sausage
Potato cheddar soup
Biscuit
Corn bread
Chocolate chip snack bar - this is a Ranger Bar
Cran apple snack bar - this is a Ranger Bar
French toast cookie
Cracker combos, pepperoni
Cracker combos, cheddar
Ranch dressing, fat free - couldn't find it in the listing
True lemon packet - couldn't find it in the listing

I'm with AKross on the Maple Sausage...I don't know about that one - but at least that MRE ought to make for a much better breakfast than the old Veggie Omelet.

2009 Items OUT:
Chicken w/salsa - I always thought this one was "ok"
Meatloaf - Nooooooooooo!!!! Don't take away my beloved Meatloaf!!!!!
Veggie omelet - Good riddance
Clam chowder - not a favorite - looking forward to its replacement (potato cheddar soup)

Did you notice they also switched around the Beef Patty and Meatballs w/Marinara Sauce MREs? They were numbers 8 and 18. Now they're 18 and 8.

Wow! Impressive... I like those maple sausages.... Probably I'll be the only one but... I liked those omelletes.... Although they looked like crap, but they filled you good....anyway1
I can wait to get my hands on one of those new packages...

Aw man, I didn't notice that. I hate just about all meatloaf, but I love MRE meatloaf.
