That was a good watch. Who knew pasta was so deadly....must be the egg going bad in the cooked pasta. Dried out egg protein is inert.... But add moisture....bacteria death! Good to know. Thanks for the post.

For me as a paramedic, a nice and interesting video to watch.
"AJ´s" cases was not only the 5 days old, (2-days) non-refrigerated pasta, but also an overdose "Pepto" consumption.

Definitely, a bottle or a box of any kind of drug is never an appropriate dosage... :? That should be common sense!
And Pepto, in an renal failure scenario and hepatic failure, is only making things worse...

Never take more than the recomended maximum dosage unless it's instructed in special circumstances... if you take more in the best case scenario, it's useless, in the worst case scenario... Well... You meet your ancestors earlier.

It may be just me being a bit grumpy, but you avoid a lot of this if you issue drugs in mono dose blisters and not it bottles or canisters

Pretty sure the poor kid didn't drink the whole bottle at once - when you're that sick, you do anything for relief, so a swig now - time passes and another swig and so on. before you know it you've knocked back a whole bottle of the pink stuff.

i was always taught to get it out - your body wants it out, so let it go. there comes a point tho, easily after a 8-12 hrs where you can't intake enough fluids and your urine is a dark yellow - it's time to go to the hospital for IV fluids.

dehydration followed by organ failures can cascade quickly from onset of symptoms in 48 hours. scary stuff.
