It´s a (1986) "VW 183", German Army name "Iltis" (CAN: "Polecat"). That was the standard "Jeep" like the "MUTT" for the US Army before it was replaced by the Mercedes "G-Wagon".

Beautiful scenery and great video housil! I'm just wondering were you over head in a plane or hot air balloon because the video looks like it was shot from above in many places.
