The BMP is about the most claustrophobia-inducing vehicle I've ever seen, worse than the M-113 ambulance track that I drove in my first national guard unit (which I did not think was possible). I recall helping to save the crew of a dis-abled Iraqi BMP-1 during desert storm and although they were badly injured, I'm not sure to this day if they were happier to see us or happier to be getting the heck out of that rolling widow-maker! Tall soldiers must find it especially difficult.
