Cadets receive cultural training that effects their abilities as leaders. It is the poor leader that enacts purposeless tasks that effects relationships with soldiers as well as families, friends, colleagues, and others. The Army in its ever-changing quest to recruit talent to the Academy defines leadership as the ability to effectively interact with others.
