It appears the seller wanted to sell. Rick was not willing to come up a bit. Not much of a negotiation unfortunately.
Chocolate was consumed back then. It was a true commodity. Perhaps back in the day you could have traded it for some chocolate.

I hope time travel or some advanced form of virtual reality like the matrix but without the robots taking over the, giant needle in the head etc. gets invented.
Would bring so much of these valuables which are very inexpensive for us today and make visits to several historic places, 1776 in boston, west indies 1492, ancient greece/egypt and so on... I'm quite the history amd archeology nerd

You'll need one of these. Fortunately for you there being re-marketed and being placed back into sale for the consumer with original parts.
