Aircraft Carrier's Swimming Pool (1943)

Post by jfko6 » Thu Feb 19, 2015 1:36 pm

During a break in the war in the Pacific some American sailors dive off the deck of a carrier and swim around in the safety pool formed by dropping the torpedo net. Various shots of the men swimming and diving - some great jumps from various places on the ship.

I got to do that several times.
Once in the mid-ocean Pacific, 2-3 times in the Med.
Always with a couple guys with rifles (sharks)
Too many sea snakes in Viet Nam waters...
