When I examined your farm field photo, I reasoned Bastogne as a possible nearby location. The storied account then appeared on the stone. My grandfather was thru Bastogne. He was filmed there. I regret not getting a copy of that documentary.

He was part of the 94th Infantry Division

Jfk06, you’d be right, considering Foy is about 4 km from Bastogne.

Right, Foy is 6km outside of Bastogne ("Bastnach")

We are in Bastogne each year for the "Nuts-Day" celebrations. Once you make it over here, I´ll tour you around :wink:
