Did they hit anything (except for a lot of taxpayers money)?
The movie was probably sponsored by ATK and Gen Dynamics.

That's not the spirit in which are soldiers are serving and sacrificing for.

Last summer I spoke to a salesman of Raytheon. I asked him what was going to happen when the economy would turn bad, and what then was going to happen with Raytheon.
He laughed and said it didn't matter what way the economy would go, because the Army would still buy their stuff, no matter what. The Army was desperately needing Raytheons ordnance and would always pay for it.
Great spirit - worth dying for.

Probably calling your president a Liar would be more accurate.
Anyway, Raytheon is the company that produces -amongst a lot of other ordnance- the range finder that is on top of the TOW missile.
They also made an experimental version of this night-vision goggle for the Border Patrol, which is guarding the US-Mexican border.
At the time of the convesation between the Raytheon representative and I, they had only produced one. For that moment there was no need to produce more night vision goggles, because the Army still payed enough for the TOW's and other stuff. Then the already described converstaion took place.
I include a nice pic of some data sheet that are in my possession:
- Small Caliber Ammo from ATK (the .50 BMG is firing this ammo),
- 120 mm Cannister Shot from Gen Dynamics (the Abrams MBT carries these rounds), and
- TOW missile from Raytheon.
This is not a staged photo!
I just like to be well informed. That's why I have an very large collection of ordnance related brochures. I can advise anyone to collect these fine data sheet. Unfortunately they are extermely hard to get.

Hehehe!
I was working for an welle known Anglo-Saxon electronic equipments & services company. They sold their "military products" branch just before the war in Iraq started.
I guess some of the managers did suicide when the saw the pile of money the missed

That's probably the fastest dodge in the west. Big Deal about those Raytheon Press releases. I've got them too. Your supposed discussion is highly dubious. Indicative of the great lengths you went to showcase them. There are not of much value these days and hardly collectors items. Most weapons related documents are not printed anymore because that same information is available on the web. I too spoke to Raytheon in the past. Here too are my documents I received on the Patriot Missile system. And you don't speak to a salesman for them you go directly to their Public Relations Office.
As for me I've received an up close and personal briefing on these systems down in Bragg.
You like to knock our leaders and our way of life. That's OK you're free to do that.
But if it were not for The United States of America all of Western Europe would have fallen under the power of Nazism. It was the United States who saved millions of people from Nazism and Fascism. I doubt you even would be writing your post today if it were not for the sacrifice of many of our soldiers lives for freedom of all people in Western Europe. And that includes you. And now the United States is rebuilding another nation. It's name, Iraq. They are now a freer people with a democratic system.
No other country in the history of the world has, after it engaged in war, rebuilt the nations it defeated. It's an example of the pride of this great country.
You can't dodge that one, Pal!

I guess it´s not the right place nor the right way for foreign guests (us/you) to "offend" Americians in an American hosted forum about their American politic.
I know that in NL many things are different than in other countries. (Even to smoke dope is a crime every where but legal in NL - nobody offends you about) but, we/you are the guest over here!
I have my own opinion about the way of American politics, but I keep them where they are. That´s my respect as a "foreign guest" for the "locals/natives" here.
That taxpayers money that is "wasted" over there, is the money of the same taxpayers that elected Georg W. Bush in an democratic election (not for sure the first time, but the second ) to their political leader (sponsored by many companies that making billions of $ now "over there" - but that´s just a "coincidence" )
...but I´m "glad" about every Taliban/Terrorist/Afghan Drug Farmer etc. that is "wiped out" over there since I have been at Ground Zero, London - but never in a NL coffee shop
@jfko6
It was also a democracy that elected Hitler in 1933 to the German Chancellor
You see, democracy is, if the opinion of two morons is more than of one wise...
i have stood behind some of the things you have said aquarious. but at this point i discount anything you say as biased. it is obvious you are anti american. i dont really care, you have exposed yourself for everyone to see. let them pass judgement on your posts. at this point i will simply ignore them. dont you have other like minded to people to spout your bs to. or do just like to try and ruffle feathers.
