The Pale Blue Eye

The Pale Blue Eye is an upcoming American gothic horror mystery film written and directed by Scott Cooper, adapted from the 2003 novel of the same name by Louis Bayard. Set at West Point in 1830, the film follows veteran detective Augustus Landor (Christian Bale) as he investigates a series of murders with the aid of a young Edgar Allan Poe (Harry Melling). Appearing in supporting roles are Gillian Anderson, Lucy Boynton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Toby Jones, Harry Lawtey, Simon McBurney, Timothy Spall, and Robert Duvall.
