Awesome review man. Just a little digression we where never part of Eastern Bloc or Warsaw Pact because we went another way from 1948. as part of Yugoslavia and we where part of this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-Aligned_Movement

Because of that Stalin have sent his killers to kill Tito, but our secret service in that time caught them all and stopped (apparently) all 22 attempted assassinations, People commonly mistake us as ex-Soviet country or even Russians, but that's not the case :D

Then Tito sent this message to Stalin
Stop sending people to kill me. If you don't stop sending killers, I'll send one to Moscow, and I won't have to send a second.

— Josip Broz Tito
Because of that everyone wanted to be our friends and Tito could smoke a Cuban cigar in the White House and in front of president Nixon

He did like his cigars a lot

History lesson ends here lol... Meat luncheon is eaten cold, but you can fry it if you like I eat it cold and I like it, but I understand you didn't like it.

Beef stew is great when you add some pasta or rice in it, we mostly eat it like that with our extra addition to the meal.

I agree about the crackers, they are the best I had so far. For some reason they don't give coffee, but those coffee candy Kavabon, I think because Podravka don't make coffee packs of any kind. But that instant tea can be prepared hot in the winter time.

About missing cutlery we had old JNA mess kits and HV (Croatian Army) cutlery sets

Thanks to asger and some of the other guys I've had a few of the Croatian rations and I liked them a lot.
On the subject of the crackers... They are really nice. Just last Saturday I ate some which I had saved, for my breakfast, along with one of the tins of pâté / meat spread of whatever it is. The crackers were out of date since November I think, but perfect
